The ghost of a young woman named Ethyl Hanley haunts the shoreline of the Sandusky River. Too young to marry, her father had her wait until she was older to wed. Her fiancé would take Ethyl to collect flowers along the banks so they could meet. One afternoon, Ethyl was killed in a carriage accident. Her ghost has been seen walking the banks, still collecting flowers years later.
